BEFORE you enroll in Medicare, be sure to visit a Florida Blue Center so you can:

  • Talk face-to-face with a licensed agent and discuss your Medicare coverage options.
  • Learn how Florida Blue Medicare plans can save you money.
  • Shop for a plan that fits you and your budget.

AFTER you decide to enroll in one of Florida Blue’s Medicare plans, our Florida Blue Centers offer many services to assist you. As a member, you’ll have access to explore all that the Florida Blue Center has to offer. You can:

  • Talk with a nurse about treatment options as recommended by your doctor.
  • Compare costs for health care services and prescriptions.
  • Research doctors and hospitals.
  • Check your health with a personal health assessment.
  • Take advantage of wellness events.

Get moving with the Silver Sneakers® Fitness Program

All Florida Blue members enrolled in BlueMedicare HMO, BlueMedicare Preferred HMO or BlueMedicare PPO receive a SilverSneakers membership.

The SilverSneakers Fitness Program helps you get fit, have fun and make friends. You have more than 11,000 participating locations across the country to choose from. Once you’ve enrolled in a BlueMedicare HMO, BlueMedicare Preferred HMO or BlueMedicare PPO plan, you’ll receive your SilverSneakers ID card in the mail.


Medicare beneficiaries may also enroll in BlueMedicare HMO, BlueMedicare Preferred HMO, BlueMedicare PPO, BlueMedicare Regional PPO and Blue Medicare Rx (PDP) through the CMS Medicare Online Enrollment Center located at http://www.medicare.gov. Florida Blue is a PPO, RPPO and Rx (PDP) Plan with a Medicare contract. Florida Blue HMO and Florida Blue Preferred HMO are HMO Plans with a Medicare contract. Enrollment in Florida Blue, Florida Blue HMO or Florida Blue Preferred HMO depends on contract renewal. This information is not a complete description of benefits. Benefits, formulary, pharmacy network, provider network, premium and/or co-payments/co-insurance may change on January 1 of each year.

Hours are 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. local time, seven days a week from October 1 to February 14, except for Thanksgiving and Christmas. From February 15th to September 30th, we are open Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 8 p.m., local time.

Florida Blue Medicare Supplement Insurance policies are not connected with or endorsed by the U.S. Government or the Federal Medicare Program. These policies have limitations and exclusions. The amount of benefits provided depends upon the plan selected and the premium may vary with the amount of benefits selected. Medical Underwriting will apply to all BlueMedicare Supplement and BlueMedicare Supplement Select products unless the applicant is eligible for guaranteed issue.
